elevated photography
What is elevated photography?
Elevated photography is known by several names, such as low-level aerial photography or ground based mast photography.
Elevated photography is often used to market a property where a photograph taken from an elevated height can add a stunning dimension to a property, and really bring out qualities that would not be appreciated in a photograph taken at ground level. An elevated photograph can show the full extent and surroundings of a property, and is particularly useful for properties with large grounds, offices and commercial property. It can also help prospective buyers visualise the potential for extending the property, or simply highlight an attractive feature or setting.
Elevated photographs can be useful in planning applications for building permissions and also for boundary disputes. If you are planning an extension and want to show the planning committee exactly where it will go, a bird's eye image with lines marking the outline of the proposed extension could help.
Mast photography can also be useful for building surveys and can be used to show parts of a property that ladders cannot easily or safely reach. The equipment can be extended (up to 15M) to roof height and manipulated to take close-up shots from different angles. As the tripod system is light weight it can be moved into fairly tight spaces and the live feed to a laptop on the ground allows a safe, thorough, inspection without the need for a ladder.
